Portrait Auré Li

Aurélie Lassoutière, the designer of Auré Li. , has always been fascinated by fashion. As a young girl, her grandmother gave her a taste for arts and craft, handwork, leading her to associate materials, colors and textures.

Aurélie quite naturally decided to attend the French Beaux-Arts, study fashion design and started working in renowned French companies such as Jamin-Puech, Lolita Lempica and Isabel Marant.

Further to her collaboration for 4 seasons with the prestigious Christian Lacroix company, designing and creating accessories for Haute Couture fashion shows, the first Auré Li. collection was launched in 2003 around a silk paper molding concept. Aurélie has become a complete artist, painting and designing accessories in her own romantic and bohemian universe. Silk paper is molded and sculpted, fabrics coming from Haute Couture are finely selected, tulles are cut, strass and feathers are added.

Auré Li. regularly attends international professional fashion fairs in Paris such as The Workshop, Who’s Next and more recently Bijhorca. Her fashion accessories have been travelling all around the world for ten years now: Paris, Tokyo, Dubai, Istanbul, Antwerp, etc.
